Electronic Cigarettes: A New Way of Smoking
Electronic cigarettes are a revolutionary new product. They’ve been on the market for only a few years, but
they are taking smokers of the world by storm. An e-cig is an electronic device that makes it look like you’re smoking and makes you feel like you’re smoking — but without the horrific side effects of smoking tobacco. That is why Sunshine Marketing has decided to promote them, hoping to make people aware of a pleasurable product and, perhaps, to save lives along the way.

But many people have never heard of them. Or, if they have, they really don’t know what e-cigarettes are.
What is an E-Cig?
The e cig is a two-piece device that looks like a cigarette with a filter on it. The long white part is the battery, which provides the power to heat up the contents of the other part, which looks like a typical cigarette filter. That part is called the cartridge (or “cartomizer”), and it contains the vaporizer plus propylene glycol (a harmless liquid often used in cooking) and nicotine. You specify the amount of nicotine you want when you order the cartridges, and you can even order them with no nicotine at all (good for pregnant or nursing moms). You simply puff as you would on a tobacco cigarette, you inhale, and then you exhale a volume of “smoke” (actually vapor, like that produced in an ordinary vaporizer).
This is the revolutionary part of the electronic cigarette. All you’re taking into your body is
basically propylene glycol and nicotine. Think of the well known, horrific effects of tar and the 4,000 carcinogens that you take into your lungs when you smoke tobacco. This smoke goes straight into our bodies and does its damage. And all these years, actually centuries for the whole human race, we’ve been going through the tobacco smoking process when all we really want is the nicotine.
“If you can separate out the nicotine from the tobacco, then you remove the disease-causing elements of tobacco smoke,” says Dr. David Baron, former chief of Staff at UCLA Medical Center.
